Mutton meat taken from back of matured lamb. This part of lamb contains relatively high fat content which would explain the smell it gives off. It is mostly used in Mongolian barbeques and in processed foods. It is said to be eaten as stake or a roast also. It contains a large amount of Carnitine that makes it perfect if you are on a diet not to mention readily available at almost any grocery store.

It is a good source of protein but contains just as much fat and notably rich in zinc.

Recipes that use it are: Meat and potato stew; Keema Curry, Tandoori Mutton; that are introduced on many cooking sites.
